The Breakfast Club

Making the most of the summer sunshine, our H.R. Owen team at Bentley Surrey was recently joined by ten of its customers for a wonderful drive out to the Goodwood Motor Circuit. The circuitu2019s Breakfast Club was hosting its u2018Classic Car Sundayu2019, an opportunity for automotive enthusiasts to come together and share that passion for exotic and rare motor cars built before 1982.

Ten Bentley Surrey customers joined the team for the drive from the Surrey showroom down to the Goodwood circuit, with a full range of Bentley cars making up the convoy and subsequent display at the Breakfast Clubu2019s Classic Car Sunday.

A standout member of our convoy to Goodwood was a stunning 1930 Bentley 8 Litre u2013 the largest and most luxurious Bentley of its time. When the car was launched, the legendary W.O. Bentley declared: u2018I have always wanted to produce a dead silent 100mph car, and now I think weu2019ve done it.u2019 One of only 100 ever made, this particular 8 Litre was the final model to be produced by Bentleyu2019s legendary engineers, and nearly a century later, its allure and prestige has not diminished.u00a0

The Goodwood Breakfast Club is open to anyone that wishes to fuel their passion for the finest, rarest and sometimes strangest automotive creations. Our trip was a chance to get a close-up look at some truly unique cars and learning all about their fascinating history from the very people that own and drive them, while also enjoying the sumptuous breakfast and hospitality that makes the Breakfast Club what it is.
