Our Cheltenham business began as Broughtons specialising in Bentley and Rolls-Royce before it became part of the H.R. Owen group as Bentley Cheltenham.

The company was founded by Commander Broughton at Number One, The High Street, Cheltenham back in 1946. Our commitment over the past seventy years to looking after our customers has been instrumental in helping HR Owen become one of the largest privately-owned luxury motor car retailers in the UK. So many of today’s classic cars could have started out brand new in one of our showrooms!

More recently we took the decision to move our Cheltenham business to a fully-independent basis, with a remit to source, sell and service the finest Bentleys along with other luxury and high-performance cars regardless of marque. That business is H.R. Owen Specialist Cars.
