The Lamborghini Huracán range features a four-strong technical tour de force of models, all powered by a howling, blood and thunder naturally aspirated V10 engine. The Huracán Evo, for example, dispenses 640BHP through a dual-clutch gearbox LDF (Lamborghini Doppia Frizione) with seven speeds to an electronically controlled all-wheel-drive system with rear mechanical self-locking differential. Be warned though; you'll need to steel yourself before releasing the car’s phenomenal 640bhp firepower. With the ability to sprint to 62mph in a scarcely believable 2.9 seconds, and reach a 202 plus mph top speed, the physical forces the Huracán Evo unleashes on the human body are not for the faint-hearted. Although marginally less potent with a mere 610BHP, the Huracán Evo RWD serves up an arguably even more intense sensation. It dispenses all of its power directly to the rear wheels, offering the purest possible driving experience and the true essence of a Lamborghini.
Both models are of course also offered in Spyder guise, opening up the luxuriously appointed cabin to the elements – all the better to savour the animalistic cry of the V10 engine. The Huracán’s advanced interior features an 8.4-inch touchscreen system integrated into the centre console, offering a sophisticated onboard experience. Designed to slice through the air, this ultra-modern Lamborghini still pays tribute to the previous models that have forged its D.N.A. with styling touches that salute the legendary Countach and Murciélago.
