The Flying Spur Speed pushes the four-door saloon concept to its absolute limit. Built on the Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain with 771 bhp and 1,000 Nm of torque, it reaches 60 mph from rest in 3.3 seconds and continues to a top speed of 191 mph — performance numbers previously unthinkable for a car of this size and luxury.
Its purpose is written all over it. A dark tint Speed matrix grille, dark tint lower bumper apertures, dark brightware throughout, Speed badging and body-coloured sills combine with exclusive 22″ Speed wheels for a look that is purposeful without being theatrical. Dark tint full LED matrix headlamps — featuring the intricate Precision internal structure — are shared only with the Flying Spur S. At the rear, dark tint taillamps and dark chrome tailpipe finishers complete the picture.
The Flying Spur Speed is fitted with Bentley Performance Active Chassis, the same setup previously reserved for the Mulliner. This includes Active All-Wheel Drive, all-wheel steering, twin-valve dampers with an enhanced Sport mode, the 48V Bentley Dynamic Ride active anti-roll system, torque vectoring by electronic limited-slip differential and a new generation of ESC control software. Every element of the chassis is calibrated to make the Speed as exciting to drive as its numbers suggest.
