Aston Martin Valhalla

Valhalla, aka the ‘Son of Valkyrie’, an all-new performance-bred predator that follows Aston Martin Valkyrie and Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro as the third hyper car in Aston Martin’s mid-engine story.

Valhalla will be a revolutionary mid-engine hypercar incorporating concepts and technologies taken directly from F1™ and inspired by Aston Martin Valkyrie, benefitting from the close involvement of Red Bull Advanced Technologies in its design and engineering, continuing one of the brightest and most exciting engineering partnerships in the automotive world.

Sharing the same fundamental styling and aerodynamic philosophy with Aston Martin Valkyrie, Valhalla features a pronounced front keel and large rear diffuser, with the underfloor generating the bulk of the downforce. However, Valhalla will also benefit from next-generation aircraft morphing technology, to create a variable airfoil across the entirety of the rear wing.

Valhalla will remain true to an uncompromising engineering ethos whilst making considerations for practicality and road use, extending the trickle down of genuine state of the art F1 technology into a road legal car. Valhalla will express a design statement that is second to none. As you would expect from a project of this nature, volumes are strictly limited.

Transmission and Powertrain

Valhalla Electrified

Twin front-mounted electric motors enable sophisticated Torque Vectoring for unparalleled traction and agility, while providing ‘Torque Fill’ between gear changes to eliminate turbo lag and powering the Valhalla in its dedicated EV mode. These bespoke motors utilise class-leading technology to maximise electrical efficiency, optimising both instantaneous speed and torque. Furthermore, they facilitate the electric reverse function, significantly reducing weight by removing the requirement for a traditional reverse gear.

A third electric motor, integrated directly into the transmission, acts as a high-performance starter-generator and further supports power delivery to ensure a more linear, relentless surge of acceleration. Completing this advanced PHEV powertrain is Aston Martin’s bespoke eight-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT). Engineered to deliver the visceral engagement of a manual gearbox with the precision of a modern racing unit, the lightweight DCT is bred for the track yet startling on the open road.

Engine

Pure Power

One moment, blood-draining acceleration; the next, pulse-quickening performance. At the heart of Valhalla sits a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 in a ‘Hot V’ configuration—the most powerful combustion engine ever fitted to an Aston Martin. It utilises all-new, close-coupled, high-flow twin-scroll turbochargers and a dry-sump system to significantly lower the centre of gravity.

A bespoke air intake design features a sophisticated single-piece manifold, while advanced Charge Air Coolers (ACACs) rapidly reduce temperatures after the turbocharging stage. This thermal optimisation ensures maximum density and power throughout the combustion process. Combined with a cutting-edge trio of electric motors, the hybrid powertrain produces a staggering 1,012 PS, propelling the all-wheel-drive Valhalla to a top speed of 217 mph.

Handling Steering and Balance

A Power of Balance

In a first for Aston Martin, the cutting-edge Electric Drive Unit (EDU) comprises two independent electric motors, enabling sophisticated Torque Vectoring across the front axle. This system actively mitigates oversteer and understeer, intuitively shifting power laterally to facilitate later braking and sharper turn-in. The result is sensational mid-corner grip and relentless traction on exit.

An Electronic Limited-Slip Differential (E-Diff) on the rear axle ensures supreme balance and handling agility. When combined with a ground-breaking 600 kg of downforce generated by the active aerodynamics, the Valhalla sets a new benchmark for driver engagement. Every precisely clipped apex excites; every surge of electrified acceleration elevates.

"Aston Martin’s first series production mid-engine supercar, Valhalla, is a truly transformational moment for this ultra-luxury brand."

Driver Connection

At One, With Formula 1®

The Valhalla’s raised-heel driving position is directly inspired by Formula 1®, as are the digital instrument graphics when ‘Race Mode’ is activated. By raising the footwells to create a more directional hip-to-heel seating position, the driver is poised low while exhilaration peaks. Bespoke, beautifully crafted carbon-fibre seats are integrated into the monocoque to ensure total engagement. With a suite of other Formula 1®-derived hallmarks, the architecture creates a pared-back cockpit with clear, intuitive ergonomics—completely focused on the driver’s interface with the machine.

The Valhalla’s driving display is complemented by a breathtaking infotainment touchscreen, featuring a bespoke ‘Race Mode’ layout directly informed by Aston Martin Formula 1® drivers at our Silverstone HQ. This includes a prominent, linear tachometer designed for optimal peripheral viewing at high speeds, alongside an expanded view for full-screen navigation. It delivers the seamless connectivity and luxury you expect, refined for the absolute pinnacle of automotive performance.

Touchscreen

A Touch of Tomorrow

Aston Martin’s next-generation infotainment architecture is fully deployed within the Valhalla. The driver-focused 10.25-inch column-mounted instrument cluster is paired with an expansive central touchscreen, offering effortless flexibility. Whether displaying essential vehicle telemetry for the track or navigation and media for the road, the interface delivers total clarity. Furthermore, a Full Digital Display Mirror System (FDM) replaces the traditional rear-view mirror, providing an unobstructed, high-definition field of vision behind the Valhalla’s aerodynamic profile.

Audio

Celestial Sound

The Valhalla offers the option of a bespoke 14-speaker Bowers & Wilkins® surround-sound system, delivering a potent 745 W output. This acoustic suite features two distinct Sound Modes: ‘Studio’ replicates the precise authenticity of a recording environment, while ‘Stage’ recreates a sprawling soundstage with the driver at its centre. Enhanced by QuantumLogic® immersion processing and Dirac Unison™ technology, the system delivers a true symphony for the senses—a high-fidelity soundtrack to match the Valhalla’s extraordinary performance.

"The Valhalla is the definitive bridge between the Silverstone pit lane and the open road, a 1,079PS hybridised marvel that distils the raw DNA of the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® Team into a mid-engine masterpiece for our clientele."
