The Aston Martin Valen represents a new summit of front-engined performance. The world’s most powerful front-engined production car and the most powerful front-engined V12 supercar in Aston Martin’s 113-year history, it is powered by a 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged engine producing 850PS and 1,000Nm of torque.
Created by Q by Aston Martin and realised through the expertise of its Special Vehicle Operations Department, Valen combines formidable performance with provocative design and an intense focus on the connection between car and driver. Production is strictly limited to 150 examples worldwide.
Full carbon-fibre bodywork and extensive weight reduction make Valen up to 110kg lighter than Aston Martin’s core V12 platform. Targeted hardware changes and detailed calibration of the steering, suspension, braking and stability systems sharpen its responses while retaining the compliance required for long-distance journeys.
The assertive exterior design expresses that heightened performance through deeply sculpted surfaces and functional aerodynamic details. Inside, an entirely new architecture creates a driver-focused cockpit environment shaped around visual lightness, intuitive control and an immediate connection with the car.
Valen unleashes the most powerful version yet of Aston Martin’s 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12. Producing 850 PS and 1,000 Nm of torque from just 2,500rpm, it delivers relentless performance accompanied by an unmistakable V12 soundtrack.
A specially tuned lightweight titanium exhaust terminates in four 3D-printed tailpipes, arranged two above and two below. The upper outlets remain permanently open, while the lower pair responds to the selected drive mode, building towards a dramatic crescendo as engine speed rises.
A specially calibrated eight-speed ZF automatic transmission directs power to the rear wheels, using race-proven shift strategies developed for Aston Martin’s Vantage GT4 programme. Faster and more engaging changes help Valen accelerate from 0–60mph in 3.0 seconds before reaching an electronically limited top speed of 214mph.
Sport, Sport+ and Track modes each create a distinct powertrain character. The road-focused modes provide greater urgency early in the accelerator’s travel, while Track mode introduces a longer, more progressive response for precise control at the limit.
Valen’s dramatic bodywork is shaped by performance. Deeply recessed headlamps sit beneath the plunging bonnet, framing an angular grille and sharply defined front splitter. Elongated side strakes form functional wheel-arch vents, while stepped sills and saw-tooth vortex generators manage airflow to reduce lift and generate downforce.
At the rear, an upswept tail produces downforce with minimal drag, removing the need for a conventional wing. A full-width light bar, rising diffuser and stacked exhaust outlets complete a departure view unlike any other front-engined Aston Martin.
Valen’s interior is built around a principle of visual lightness. A slim centre console is angled towards the driver, using advanced 3D-printed components and incorporating the performance switchgear first introduced on Valhalla.
The pared-back architecture places every essential control within intuitive reach, creating a more focused cockpit while preserving the elevated craftsmanship and meticulous detailing expected of an Aston Martin flagship
New Sport Plus seats combine the support required for dynamic driving with the comfort needed for longer journeys. Lightweight carbon-fibre performance seats provide an even more focused alternative, allowing each customer to shape the driving environment around their intended use.
A choice of Semi-Aniline Leather and Alcantara, or full Semi-Aniline Leather, is complemented by five material splits, new quilting treatments, and extensive colour and detailing options through Q by Aston Martin.
Aston Martin’s in-house infotainment system incorporates Apple CarPlay Ultra and Android Auto. Physical buttons and scroll wheels remain central to the experience, allowing frequently used functions to be controlled without distracting from the road.
A 15-speaker, 1,170-watt Bowers & Wilkins surround-sound system delivers an immersive listening experience, while the newly designed centre console combines digital capability with the tactile, mechanical character central to Valen’s appeal.
