The innovative ‘K-fold’ roof – offered in a choice of four colours – can be lowered in just 14 seconds, and is elegantly concealed beneath a hard tonneau cover. When raised, the beautifully-sculpted roof line maintain’s the DB12’s sleek, perfectly-proportioned profile, while the eight layers of insulation ensure outstanding refinement, at any speed.
The luxurious cabin features the very finest materials and finishes, including veneers or carbon fibre inlays in the seatbacks – a detail unique to the Volante. The bespoke infotainment system features an ultra-responsive, 10.25-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity, and superb surround sound audio from Bowers & Wilkins. Just like its Coupe stablemate, the heart of the new DB12 Volante is a hand-built 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8. Developing an astonishing 680PS and 800Nm of torque, it can launch the car from 0-60mph in a mere 3.6 seconds, on its way to a truly breathtaking maximum speed of 202mph.
