While the Aventador LP 700-4 continues to offer a unique blend of power, performance and jaw-dropping looks, the Superveloce models are its leaner, meaner, more track-focused siblings. Power is increased by 50hp and weight reduced by 50kg, giving a power to weight ratio of just 2.1kg per horsepower. Taking advantage of these virtues, the SV Roadster also features Magneto Rheological Suspension, a pushrod damping system and Lamborghini Dynamic Steering (LDS) for improved driving dynamics.
Both the interior and exterior make extensive use of new, lightweight materials while the seats, forged alloy rims and engine bay are also lightened. The interior features a new TFT instrument display but no satellite navigation. If you’re driving the Aventador LP 750-4 SV Roadster, it’s assumed you know where you’re going and don’t want any superfluous weight to slow you down. The interior of the SV Roadster dispenses with soft trim and just features the bare carbon-fibre structure of the Lamborghini beneath a lustrous resin coat. And so that you can enjoy the full symphony of the 750hp V12, the power rear window allows the engine’s full sonic glory to fill the cockpit. A manually-adjustable rear spoiler with a choice of three positions triple-underscores the message to onlookers that this no mere boulevard cruiser.
