Lamborghini’s partnership with Pirelli began back in 1963, when the company was founded. The two Italian brands have been inseparable ever since. The Pirelli P Zero tyres on the Aventador LP 700-4 Pirelli Edition are a far cry from the GT 350’s Cinturato HS tyres, but they play just as big a role in its performance.
The Pirelli Edition is unchanged in performance from the Aventador LP 700-4 – and who could ask for more? However the design and colour schemes are unique to this model. Prospective owners have a choice of matt black with gloss paintwork, or gloss back with matt paintwork. In either case the black section includes the roof, pillars, door mirrors, engine cover, and air intakes. In an echo of the Pirelli tyre design, a thin red stripe runs along the roof and the engine hood, the rear-view mirrors, and the outer profiles of the air intakes.
Choose matt black with gloss colour and the selection is Giallo Spica, Rosso Mars, Bianco Isis, Nero Aldebaran, Grigio Liqueo, and Grigio Ater. Opt for gloss black and the complementary matt colour finishes are Bianco Canopus, Nero Nemesis, Grigio Adamas, and Grigio Titans.
Other features include a transparent engine cover, gloss black Dione 20’’/21’’rims, and P Zero tires with red logo and red callipers (or yellow if you choose Rosso Mars finish).
Inside, the Aventador Pirelli edition is upholstered in black Alcantara with red contrast stitching. A red stripe runs along the headlining and seats and the crests of Lamborghini and Pirelli are embroidered in red. A ‘Pirelli Special Series’ plaque confirms the car’s exclusivity.
