Although featuring the iconic Lamborghini V10 configuration, the engine is newly developed. With 5.2 litres, it produces 560hp at 8,000rpm and achieves a class-leading 107.6hp per litre. Maximum torque of 540Nm is reached at 6,500rpm, with a flat torque curve ensuring generous thrust at all engine speeds.
Despite being capable of 0-100km/h in four seconds and a maximum speed of 324km/h, this advanced engine is now notably more fuel efficient than its predecessor and produces 18 percent less CO2.
A sophisticated permanent all-wheel drive system transfers this spectacular performance to the road. Unique to Lamborghini in this configuration, it distributes power at a standard rate of 30/70 front to rear, and adapts to changing road conditions in milliseconds.
A traditional six-speed manual gearbox can be chosen for maximum engagement, or you can go for the newly improved e-Gear automated transmission. Now lighter and 40 percent quicker than before in corsa mode, e-Gear allows smooth instant changes from the steering wheel paddles between the transmission’s six ratios.
