Supercar Sunday at Goodwood
H.R. Owen yesterday took a group of customers down to the monthly Goodwood Breakfast Club. This month’s theme was Supercar Sunday and we had a head turning mix of Ferraris, Maseratis and a Bentley meet up at The Inn @ West End at 7am. Many braved the thunder and lightning in London to head out to Surrey for coffee and biscuits kindly laid on by the landlord.
At 7.30 some 15 or so cars headed down to Goodwood in convoy where Lord March had very kindly reserved the Vitra Café for our party and his executive chef cooked us all a delicious breakfast. Our thanks to him for his hospitality and to our petrolheads for getting up so early on a Sunday!
Around 8,000 people were expected at Goodwood to look at the breathtaking array of supercars and at one point there was a very valuable traffic jam all the way to Chichester!
