GranTurismo MC Stradale

spec options for this grand tourer to take you from the road to the racetrack. No other model represents the true “driver’s car” with such class and charm.

Named for the legendary Maserati Corse, the GranTurismo MC Stradale is the fastest and most responsive model in the range. It has a roaring V8 heart and a racing soul, with custom design and

Overview

Larger air inlets define the shape of the GranTurismo MC Stradale’s front bumper, and the wings are also wider, keeping the car closer to the road at high speeds. The twin vents in the bonnet give the front a sportier look, and they help in cooling the engine.

20-inch wheel rims sit comfortably under the car’s strongly defined wheel arches, and you can opt for one of three metallic shades. In addition to the standard bold red, a further three colours are available to customise the brake callipers.

There are 13 paint colours available for the GranTurismo MC Stradale, ranging from smart metallics to bold blocks of tone. You can also customise a number of the interior features – select a shade for the seats and trim, steering wheel, roof lining and carpet to make the design of your car personal and bespoke. The driver’s seatbelt can be optionally replaced with a four-point racing harness in black, blue or red.

Throughout the interior of the car, high-quality materials and crafted details combine to give the cabin a refined feeling. The Alcantara upholstery is lighter and more durable than leather, without compromising on comfort. Bucket seats in the front provide an authentic racing atmosphere, and the carbon fibre structure keeps the MC Stradale light.

Technology

Fitted with a 4.7-litre V8 engine, the GranTurismo MC Stradale delivers 460bhp at the maximum 7,000rpm. It’ll take you from 0-62 in just 4.5 seconds, on the way up to a top speed of 188mph. At 4,750rpm, the maximum torque of 52kg/m propels the car with capable strength.

Ride modes have been made simpler in the MC Stradale, refining your choices to Auto, Sport, and Race. Each mode is provided through the six-speed automatic transmission, which can be set to manual and controlled with paddles on the steering wheel. The throttle pedal is 30 percent more responsive than the standard GranTurismo model, slashing gear change times. It contributes to the car’s faster 0-62 speed and higher top speed compared to the rest of the GranTurismo range. The model is the first Maserati to include Sequential Downshifting, which makes changes between more than one gear smooth and seamless.

The GranTurismo MC Stradale also demonstrates faster and harder braking, using lighter carbon-ceramic brakes with ventilated discs and a powerful six-piston calliper at the front. The rear brake discs have four fixed pistons for added responsiveness – from a speed of 60mph, the car will come to a full stop in just 33 metres.
