With a heritage that can be traced back to the first-ever GranTurismo model in 1947, this refreshed Maserati GranTurismo is both traditional and innovative. The award-winning design

and craftsmanship of this two-door coupé is obvious inside and out, from the sleek body shape to the elegant cabin that can easily seat four adults.

Overview

Maserati GranTurismo

Whilst finalising the shape of the car, Maserati has put the GranTurismo through extensive wind tunnel testing, so you can be sure that the refined shape is both aerodynamic and stylish. The exhaust meets the toughest limits on emissions, and adds to the classic look of the body.

A range of 19" and 20" wheel rims are available for the model, in light and dark shades to match the paint colour that you’d prefer. The wheel arches are highly curved to give each tyre more space, and you can also select a colour for the brake callipers, which are visible through the spokes of the wheel.

Maserati guarantees that when you select a GranTurismo, the design and feel will be unique to you. Pick and choose to create one of the eight million potential combinations of body colour and interior trim options, which include leather shades, wood inlays, and glossy lacquer finishes.

On the inside, the layout of the cabin provides the optimum amount of air and natural light, and the attention to detail in the upholstery is second to none. Discreet storage compartments are covered in soft yet durable leather, which envelops the seats and armrests to give you total comfort.

Technology

Maserati GranTurismo

Maserati has developed a new and robust range of engines, and the GranTurismo is powered by a hearty eight-cylinder model. The overhead camshafts control 32 valves, with a continual system on the aspirated side to keep the engine working efficiently. The car boasts a 0-60 speed of 5.2 seconds and a top speed of 177mph, with a maximum torque level of 47kg/m that guarantees stability.

The impressive power that the engine provides is enabled by the hydraulic automatic gearbox, which is self-adapting to maintain performance. You can make gear changes right up to the maximum 7,200rpm – a feature that no other automatic transmission in the world is able to match. It has four modes to meet the varied demands of everyday drives – Auto Normal for cruising, Auto Sport for a racing style, Auto ICE which delivers more grip, and a Manual mode that puts you in total control. When using the transmission manually, you can use the paddles built into the steering wheel to change gears quickly.

Electronic ‘drive by wire’ throttle control in the GranTurismo gives the acceleration hair-trigger responsiveness – one touch of the pedal and the car reacts instantly to deliver more speed.
