Lamborghini London Celebrates 40 Years of V12 Power!
To celebrate the Arrival of the new flagship Lamborghini Aventador, Lamborghini London has created a unique showroom display with a beautiful example of each of the Lamborghini flagship V12 cars from the last 40 years.
They are; the LP700-4 (Aventador) itself, it's immediate predecessor the Murciélago LP670 SV (one of only 350 made) , a pristine stick shift Murciélago LP 640, a 6.0 Diablo SE (one of only 20 that were built) which belongs to none other than Troy Corsa and finally what we would consider, one of the finest examples in the world today of the classic LP400. 1975 and chassis number 14.
These cars not only represent the unique essence of what Lamborghini is all about but also an astonishing example of evolution in technology. From a car which has seat belts without the words "inertia reel" in the description of them let alone "self-tensioning" to a car with "50ms Robotised ISR" listed the transmission spec and a chassis with the words "co-cured Prepreg" and "Resin Transfer Moulding" used to describe its manufacturing process!
We have come a very long way indeed.
