In support of the famous London homeless charity ‘The Passage” Jack Barclay commissioned local artist Martin Millard to produce a special Christmas Card for 2008. One of a number of collectable cards produced for Jack Barclay over the years it takes a light hearted view on an all too common London problem!
The Passage was opened 28 years ago by Cardinal Hume to care for to care for homeless people sleeping on the streets near Victoria Station.
From just a few volunteers providing shelter and food, we now operate the largest day centre for homeless people in the country, used by over 4,000 individuals last year, as well as running a 48 bed emergency hostel. They try to be non-judgemental and to treat everyone with respect while intervening in their lives to restore hope, however long this may take.
