Ferrari Winter Check
H.R. Owen Sports Cars Ferrari in London and St. Albans are pleased to announce the 2008 Winter Health Check is now available. Running from 1st December 2007 to 31st March 2008, this comprehensive 22 point check will ensure your Ferrari is in perfect condition after the summer’s activity and give you peace of mind between scheduled services.
The Winter Health Check is available for only £125.00 including VAT and covers the major areas of the cars including the braking system, oil and fluid levels, battery condition check, underbody sealing check, and a comprehensive road test.
The 22-point check in full:
- Check condition and tension of the engine drive belts
- Check engine oil level and topup as necessary
- Check engine coolant level and top up
- Examine coolant hoses for loss of coolant
- Check power steering fluid level
- Check condition of all pressure hoses and pipes
- Check steering rack gaitors
- Check condition of all brake pipes and hoses
- Check brake pads for wear
- Ensure wheel bolts are set to correct torque setting
- Check handbrake operation
- Check brake fluid reservoir fluid level
- Check battery condition (attach print off)
- Check all fascia warning lights
- Check operation of all driving, indicator and interior lights
- Check operation of central locking system
- Check condition and operation of seat belts
- Check operation of the wiper and washer system
- Check integrity of underbody sealing/anti corrosion treatment
- Check all tyre pressure and adjust as necessary
- Check tyre thread and condition
- Road test the car for satisfactory performance and condition
