Ferrari breaks Guinness World Record!

Ferrari broke the Guinness World Record for the ‘Largest Parade of Ferrari Cars’ with an incredible 385 Ferrari cars on the Silverstone Circuit, Saturday 9th June 2007. This remarkable achievement is thanks to the enthusiasm and the passion of the Ferrari Owners Club who managed to gather so many cars on their 40th Anniversary and Ferrari’s 60th Anniversary. Massimo Fedeli, MD of Ferrari GB and Peter Everingham from the Ferrari Owners Club received the certificate from Guinness World Records.

‘We are proud to have the support of so many Ferrari owners today in setting a new Guinness World Record. We would like to express our sincere thanks to the Owners Club, our Sponsors and everyone who has been working behind the scenes for months to achieve a record we are confident will last for many years’ commented Massimo Fedeli.

Driving the lead cars were Bruno Senna in a 599 GTB Fiorano, PC Paul Atkin in a specially-liveried 612 Scaglietti, followed by VIP guests, sponsors and Ferrari clients who all completed one full lap of Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit covering a distance of almost three miles, driving two abreast.

This attempt was designed to promote the Ferrari Racing Days celebrations at Silverstone, to mark the 60th Anniversary of Italy’s most famous and successful automotive brand.
