Jack Barclay Bugatti celebrates fine French automobiles at Prescott Speed Hill Climb’s La Vie En Bleu 2010...

Gloucestershire motorheads and culture vultures alike were treated to yet another spectacular event over the May Bank Holiday Weekend when the prestigious Prescott Speed Hill Climb near Cheltenham played host to the fourth annual La Vie En Bleu weekend event.

Taking place on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 May 2010, the home of the Bugatti Owner’s Club was transformed in celebration of fine French automobiles – when both vintage and classic cars were on show at the prestigious venue.

There was competitive racing on both days, with Saturday being for Invited Clubs and Sunday celebrating all things Francais!.

The highlight of the weekend was undoubtedly the appearance by the collection of Bugatti Veyrons – the fastest, most exclusive road car the world has ever seen – boasting a phenomenal 978bp and an unbelievable top speed of 252mph including the incredibly rare Bugatti Veyron Pur Sang!

There were also Daleks on the hill for Doctor Who fans, gendarmes policing the crowds, and can-can dancers high-kicking, with the skies coming alive thanks to an aerial display by The Breitling Wingwalkers – combining for a real summer highlight.
